Inspired by my daughters mothers day present, which came packaged in shredded tissue paper. I decided to try printing a background using shredded tissue paper that is not colour fixed. I love the effects that this tissue paper allows and I have used it as my wolf and undergrowth.

Susan Blair

This is a version of Little red-cap illustrated by Susan Blair using wood cuts published in 1964. I can find little about this illustrator apart from that she also illustrated Billy Goats Gruff using the same technique, making full use of the wood grain from the timber she printed with.
