Pantovola II

Above: La Loba by Pantovola

"This piece is called La Loba and she was inspired by the Mexican folktale with the same name, which tells the story of a wolf woman who collects the bones of deceased animals, mainly of wolves. To bring them back to live she rearranges them in their original form, whilst singing and dancing by a roaring fire.                                                                         This story has been beautiful recaptured by writer and jungian psychoanalyticus Clarissa Pinkola Estés in her wildly important book “women who run with the wolves” Pantovola
