Little Red Riding Hood by Muriel W. (Retold by) Perrault, illustrated by Pablo Ramirez (1926-1966) Published 1965. Pablo has an extremely stylised visual language, his red riding hood has a minimalist anime style face, she seems to be wearing traditional dutch style clothing and the palette is sometimes very unusual like the 1952 painting 'Chinese Girl' by Vladimir Tretchikoff (see below).
