I have been leading a program of printmaking lessons using materials that are cheap and readily available for over a year now. I never quite know who is going to turn up and try to make it as accessible and fun as possible. Last week was the first week of a new term and I had started with potatoes I use lino cutters and craft knives to score and cut the flesh, and especially when overlapping them in different colours the results can be very sophisticated despite the primitiveness of the medium.
Today I have time to play for the first time in months and I returned to the ongoing challenge of 'Little Red', my muse for fun and experimentation.
