Katharine Cameron

Katharine Cameron (1874-1965) studied at the Glasgow School of Art, from 1889 to 1893 and at Colarossi's in Paris with Gustave Courtois. Katherine was one of the Glasgow girls, pictured here in the back row with her arms out, she became known for her prints and watercolours, she also illustrated several books in the 'Told to the Children' series, edited in the early 1900's by Louey Chisholm, and published in London by T. C. & E. C. Jack. Katherine Cameron illustrated many fairytales and The Water Babies.
