Enrica Scurati is an Italian illustrator from Milan whose work I saw at the Bologna Children's Book Fair and these are her very stylized and surreal illustrations for Little Red Riding Hood.

"I am inspired by the art of Keith Haring, because I admire his work and creativity.
I have stylized the characters, assembling even stationery objects, such as the head of the wolf is a stapler, using a technique that could represent the effect of graffiti wall.
This combined with unreal looking figures, recalls a surreal world as by the way is for me is the reign of fairy tales." Enrica Scurati
